Over the past years, the landscape of Iranian knowledge-based companies has significantly evolved, with approximately 5,000 enterprises emerging as key players in the economy. These companies have been instrumental in generating substantial revenue through the sale of various products and services, spanning sectors like pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, polymer and chemical products, and industrial machinery. Notably, a significant portion of their revenue comes from exports, with around 250 enterprises collectively exporting products valued at $400 million. Their export destinations include Central Asia and neighboring countries, underlining their growing importance in regional trade dynamics.

Breakthrough Epilepsy Treatment

Iran has made significant strides in medical advancements, particularly in the development of new treatments and medicines. One notable achievement is the herbal treatment for epilepsy called Fenosha, which has shown promising results in clinical trials. Reza Mazloom Farsibaf, the medicine's founder, highlighted its superiority over existing treatments due to its non-toxic nature and minimal side effects. If approved, Fenosha could offer a much-needed solution for the millions worldwide suffering from epilepsy. With ongoing efforts, Iran is poised to strengthen its position in the field of medicine by introducing more innovative products in the future.
